Solar hearing, the movie version

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAYellow Sheet Report

Jason Rose, the publicist hired by rooftop solar companies to fight APS’s net metering proposal, told our reporter this morning to expect a “festive” atmosphere at the Corporation Commission on Wednesday and Thursday, when the agency formally hears APS’s proposal to cut the incentive for installing solar rooftop panels essentially by half.

Our reporter has learned that employees of rooftop solar companies will show up to the hearings.

“It’s a lot more than employees [that are coming],” Rose said. “If this were a movie, you probably read the trailer. See the rest of the movie. We’d invite you to show up on Wednesday or Thursday.”
