Flagstaff Council backs May regional plan ballot

If a new regional plan gets before Flagstaff voters, it’s likely to be this coming May.

And preferably vote-by-mail only.

That was the consensus of the Flagstaff City Council as it wound down the four-year drafting process to a final round of public testimony Tuesday. If at least five members approve the plan next month, the council said it preferred May over November in part because May was sooner.
