Fountain Hills needs construction to fund services, council told

Fountain Hills is counting on increased construction to maintain the current level of services to residents in its 2014-15 budget.

That’s according to Julie Ghetti, deputy town manager/finance director, who presented the latest financial projections during a Jan. 8 Town Council retreat. The council will receive a proposed 2014-15 budget on March 31.

Revenue projections are based on staff’s “best estimates and dependent” on potential new construction permits from new building activity, she said.
