Hermanson announces candidacy for Maricopa City Council

Maricopa Republican Club president Marty Hermanson announced his candidacy this week for city council.

Hermanson had an unsuccessful run for council in 2008. He served as campaign manager for councilman Bridger Kimball in 2012 and was campaign manager for the re-election of Sheriff Paul Babeu the same year.

According to a press release, Hermanson said the current city council has accomplished “many good things and has made good decisions, which will affect the city in a positive way.”
