After several questions about traffic and construction noise, the Flagstaff Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending approval for three housing projects.

Commissioners had the most questions about a 160-unit apartment complex planned for 927 W. Forest Meadows St. on 7 acres.

Commissioner Steve Jackson asked how the developer would handle the traffic congestion on South Woodlands Village Boulevard.

He also pointed out that one of the development’s driveways was positioned across the street from a bus stop.

“I feel like there’s a real problem here. Someone’s going to get hurt,” he said.
