What’s killing solar: Market influence: China trade, AZ policies hurt installation businesses

Solar is a global market, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the plight of the state’s installation companies. Installers are bearing the brunt of a number of factors affecting the success of solar in Arizona — whether it’s internal issues such as the net-metering fracas, or external factors such as China trade subsidies and tariffs. Mostly, it has meant cutting back or retrenching in an industry that has yet to stabilize.
