Neighbors are complaining again about events held at Chateau de Vie in Chandler.
The city last year denied a permit for the property to operate as event venue
The Goodman family, which owns the 10-acre property at 1220 N. Kyrene Road, has told the city they are only hosting friends and family, and these private events are within the family’s rights as property owners, Nick Goodman told The Arizona Republic.
“Just because I can hear something from your property doesn’t mean that your actions are inappropriate,” he said, adding that if they had received the use permit they would be prohibited from playing outdoor music. “We are respectful and we’ll continue to be respectful.”
