A housing development soon might replace long-abandoned Compadre Stadium in south Chandler.
Rose Law Group client Standard Pacific Homes has submitted plans to build a residential community on the site, at the southeastern corner of Alma School and Ocotillo roads.
“It’s really going to be quite the gem,” said Danielle Tocco, spokeswoman for Standard Pacific Homes.
The proposed Echelon at Ocotillo would include 137 townhouses and 182 single-family homes. Home sizes would be from 1,500 to 3,700 square feet.
The homes are designed for the “move-up audience,” Tocco said.
