Maybe not you, specifically, but it will not be long before guests will be smoking marijuana at a same-sex wedding.
In Arizona.
And will all be legal.
We’ll get to argue about this for a little while longer, which is good for hacks like me. But don’t fool yourself. These two issues have been decided. Your kids or grandkids have no problem with either one of these things. Within a generation the writers who take the places of people like me will be asking what took so long.
Comment by Rose Law Group partner Ryan Hurley: “Montini gets it right yet again. People are finally realizing that the prohibition of cannabis for adults has done far more harm than good. The only people fighting this are those that have a vested interest in maintaining the status-quo.”
Comments by Kaine Fisher, chairman of Rose Law Group Family Law Dept.: “I have been saying for months now that it’s only a matter a time before same-sex marriage is permissible in Arizona. The dominoes began to fall last summer with the Supreme Court’s U.S. v Windsor ruling (the Defense of Marriage Act was declared unconstitutional). Since then the pro same-sex marriage movement has become a rolling stone gathering more and more momentum every day.”
