On one hand, he wants to clean out our rainy day fund to put more money into a flawed school funding system. On the other, he’s trying to win votes by throwing out big, expensive ideas like a passenger rail line, all-day kindergarten and student loan forgiveness – which is particularly rich considering he doubled tuition while on the Board of Regents. I’m all for big ideas, but they have to be grounded in fiscal reality. It’s never been more clear to me that we need a governor with a solid background in business and financial management, which is why I’m supporting Doug Ducey.”
