(PHOENIX) – Hines, the international real estate firm, will raze Elevation Chandler and kick off the rise of Chandler Viridian at a ceremonial event, Nov. 20 at 10am. The media is invited to attend the event, called “Elevating Chandler’s Economic Future.”
For about two years, Hines has been working through the complexities of the site near Chandler Fashion Center at the southeast corner of Frye Road & Galleria Way, temporary home to the unfinished Elevation Chandler structure. Hines is now ready to demolish and remove Elevation Chandler and build Chandler Viridian.
Chandler Viridian, a mixed-used development, will include luxury apartments, a six-story modern brand hotel, a central plaza with 250,000 square feet of Class A office, and retail options along with a pedestrian promenade to the Chandler Fashion Center. Chandler Viridian is located in the heart of the Chandler retail entertainment district.
Chris Anderson, managing director and local city leader for Hines, and Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny will speak at the event. Hines will begin demolishing Elevation Chandler during the ceremony. Razing the structure is expected to take a few hours.
