Rose Law Group attorneys represented family of first U.S. Ebola victim in settlement with Dallas hospital

Attorneys from Scottsdale-based Rose Law Group helped represent the family of Thomas Eric Duncan — the Liberian man who died at a Dallas hospital after being the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S.

Duncan’s family sued Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital after his death. He was originally misdiagonsed and sent home after first going to Presbyterian’s emergency room in September. Duncan died Oct. 8.

The family and Texas hospital announced a settlement today to a medical malpractice lawsuit filed after his death.
