HSL engages flurry of southern Arizona projects

Tucson-based general contractor HSL Properties has several large projects in the works, including a new Embassy Suites, a new apartment complex, and a $16M rehab of the Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort.

The company also plans a renovation of the Hotel Arizona, but initial plans aren’t expected to be finalized for 30 to 60 days.

The company broke ground late last year on the new $42M, 368-unit apartment community, Encantada at Tucson National, across Shannon Road to the west from the resort golf course Omni Tucson National in northwest Tucson.

The architect is Eglin + Bresler, landscape architect is Ensign Design Group and civil is Rick Engineering Company of Phoenix.
