Home prices in most of Glendale remain below average, compared to Maricopa County, but prices rose last quarter in all of the city’s main ZIP codes, according to the latest figures from the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service.
ARMLS recently released statistics for the first quarter of 2015, which lasted from January to March.
Two of the eight ZIP codes principally in Glendale have median sales prices above the countywide figure of $206,000, which is up 6.7 percent from a year ago.
A few other ZIP codes make minor incursions into Glendale, such as 85031 and 85310, but the prices in those areas are not necessarily representative of home prices in the city.
Across Glendale, the 749 homes that sold last quarter (compared to 715 a year ago) spent, on average in each ZIP code, between 40 and 70 days on the market.
Median prices are those that fall in the middle, with half the prices above and half below.
