Looking 25 years into the future is no easy task, but it’s one that was assigned to 16 Maricopa citizens on the 2040 Vision committee.
In a special meeting April 21 at City Hall, the committee presented a draft strategic plan to members of the City Council and city staff.
The council was mostly pleased with the results, and committee Chairman Dan Frank admitted long hours were spent preparing the brochure.
“We put a lot of effort in getting the document to this point,” he said.
