The City of Surprise is about to get its first hospital — the Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital.
“It’s a 40 bet acute rehabilitation hospital,” CEO Sharon Noe said of the hospital, which will be located at Bell and Dysart roads. “It has all private rooms, serving a variety of patients, primarily neuro.”
The $17.5-million hospital, a joint effort of Cobalt Rehabilitation and the Abrazo Community Health Networks, is under construction and is about 80 percent complete.
Today, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a new policy to prohibit employees from using nonpublic information to personally profit from prediction markets.
