Woman says she took sick horse from Arizona City property to save its life [VIDEO]

A Pinal County woman is risking charges for removing a malnourished horse from a property. Shelly Sargeant said she couldn’t look away, especially after seeing several other dead horses.

“As we drove along, we found more and more deceased animals,” Sargeant said.

Sargeant lives near a rural desert landscape just off Sunland Gin Road in Arizona City. She said she recently saw a group of healthy-looking horses being dropped off on the rural property in Arizona City.
