Republican Wendy Rogers is running for Arizona’s 1st Congressional District, a move that ended weeks of speculation.
Rogers had run twice in Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District, narrowly losing in the GOP primary in 2012 and losing the general election to Rep. Kyrsten Sinema in 2014.
“This is a campaign for the people and the values of (the district),” Rogers said in a written statement announcing her campaign.
