I-11: Next steps are environmental study and Mexico agreement

Currently, the Arizona Department of Transportation is kicking off the Interstate 11 environmental study to finalize a route between Nogales and Wickenburg. The alignment from Wickenberg to Las Vegas follows U.S. 95.

Interstates 11 and 19 in the U.S. and Mexican Route 15 in Mexico are to be planned for development. One portion of I-11 is already under construction in Nevada between Las Vegas and the Colorado River. The Arizona portion of I-11 has been put into the federal transportation budget to define its preferred alignment.
