$42 million housing, retail project proposed for downtown Mesa

The Mesa City Council at a Thursday, March 17, study session is to discuss a Request for Proposal from Chicanos Por La Causa Inc. for the development of approximately 2.5 acres on the northwest corner of Country Club Drive and Main Street, including the Bailey’s Brake Service business. The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. in the lower council chambers, 57 E. First St.

The city put an RFP out in January and the respondent was Chicanos Por La Causa Inc., according to city documents from the meeting agenda at http://mesa.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.
