Poll: Less than half of Arizonans think state headed in right direction

Arizonans are dissatisfied with the way the state is being run, a poll said Wednesday.

The poll from the Behavior Research Center found 41 percent of Arizonans think the state is “seriously off track,” though it was unclear why people thought that.

The center said the results reflected some partisan thinking. More than 60 percent of Democrats think the state is headed in the wrong direction while 41 percent of Republicans agreed.

The poll said women and older residents were the most likely to feel Arizona is not heading where it should be.
