Mesa to consider 60KSF office building

By Peter Madrid for Arizona Builder’s Exchange

A developer is requesting the rezoning of a vacant lot at 5253 S. Saranac St. in Mesa to make way for a 60KSF, three-story office building.

Granite Field Investments, LLC is seeking a rezoning from LI and LC to LI-AF-BIZ. The proposed project will be known as Saranac Offices and will be owned and occupied by a national exterminating company for its corporate offices. The Site Plan Review is being processed through the Planning & Zoning Board.

The plan is to combine three existing parcels into one. Paved asphalt parking will be provided to include 35 covered parking spaces. Building elevations are enhanced with a combination of tinted glass, scored CMU, stucco and stone. An outdoor employee area will feature picnic tables and umbrella shade.
