Lopez resigns from Glendale council for Coolidge job

Gilbert Lopez will become the new City of Coolidge Development Services Director, after retiring from the City of Glendale.

Lopez, a city council member, submitted his letter of resignation from that body to the City of Coolidge, which was accepted at the Nov. 14 city council meeting.

In the fall of 2014, Lopez was selected to complete the last two years of Councilmember Judy Rotz-Lopez’s term, which officially ends at the beginning of the Dec. 11 scheduled City Council meeting.
