After losing Lucid Motors, Sacramento fires shot across Arizona’s bow with new economic development push

Arizona has a heady upstart competitor when it comes to autonomous vehicles and attraction of the companies in alternative energy and zero emission vehicles.

New Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg wants to transform Sacramento into an industry center for renewable energy companies, including those making electric and autonomous vehicles, according to a report from Allen Young at the Sacramento Business Journal, a sister publication of the Phoenix Business Journal.
