It’s the Air.
That’s the name of the model luxury electric vehicle startup Lucid Motors will build in Casa Grande beginning in 2018. The manufacturer unwrapped the Air today at its research and development facility in Silicon Valley.
Groundbreaking on the first phase of the 500,000-square-foot $700-million facility is set for early in 2017.
The four-door sedan, which is expected to compete with Tesla Model S, Mercedes E Class and BMW Series 7 vehicles, will be priced at more than $100,000.
