During the Jan. 3 workshop, Glendale City Council addressed the election of a vice mayor for the 2017 year with questions surrounding a challenge of current Vice Mayor Ian Hugh.
“I knew this was going to be brought up,” Hugh said after the meeting. “It is fine; I didn’t take anything personally.”
Hugh has helped the city turn from a decline into possible bankruptcy to economic solvency, but Barrel District Councilmember Bart Turner addressed a possible change in the position.
