Ideas could soon become reality for a very popular downtown property.
The downtown catalyst team, which is an arm of Havasu’s Vision 20/20 initiative, is seeking architects and urban design experts who can blend the concepts for a community gathering spot and commercial space to produce actual construction documents. The project will be at the former Springberg-McAndrew Park site, which was purchased by the city earlier this year.
“Over the years there have been a lot of different people bringing a lot of different ideas to that space,” Partnership for Economic Development Director James Gray said. “As a general concept, it’s been pretty well thought out, but this is the time to take it to the next level.”
