Super L Ranch Market closes amid Chinese Cultural Center fight over renovations

Activists continued the fight to save the Phoenix Chinese Cultural Center on Saturday with a farewell event for one of the center’s longstanding tenants, the Super L Ranch Market.

Nearly 100 people gathered to send off the business, which will move to Scottsdale by the end of the month.

The market is the latest storefront to close down at the location after the property was sold to a new owner, True North Companies, in June.
