Surprise issues proposal request for comprehensive transit study

City officials are looking for help to plan transportation improvements in the community.

The city published a request for proposals Aug. 24, which explains the specifications of the City of Surprise Transit Feasibility Study and Implementation Plan. The document lays out a scope of work and steps for qualified contractors to respond and compete for the lucrative contract, which will be awarded in the fall.
