Perhaps you missed it, but Unmarried and Single Americans Week was observed from Sept. 17 to 23. Based on 2016 demographics, there were 110.6 million unmarried people in the country to be celebrated. That’s 45.2 percent of all United States residents ages 18 and older, a number that includes the never married, widowed, divorced and cohabiting.
