After competing at the national level, one Maricopa Future Cities team is bringing (sic) recognition back to the city.
Future Cities is a national competition where middle school students research, design and build cities of the future. They work closely with their teachers and engineering mentors who help them bring their innovative ideas to life.
The team “Innovacia” from Maricopa Wells Middle School won the award for “Most Sustainable Environmental Practices.”
