Peoria City Council had already wrapped up its regular budget discussions April 9. So, April 10 was devoted solely to the city’s 10-year Capital Improvement Program. Engineering Director Adina Lund and Deputy City Manager Andy Granger, the former engineering director, laid out a lengthy list of projects either completed in the past year, in the construction phase, or on the calendar for the future.
Before the CIP presentation began, Mayor Cathy Carlat said, “The CIP is fully funded, not something we dreamed up.”
Granger added, “The CIP reflects our goal to make Peoria the best city to live in.”
