Surprise transit survey reveals needs

City officials continue to gather public input as they work on solutions to the area’s transit troubles.

Martin Lucero, transportation planning manager for Surprise, detailed results of its recently concluded transit survey during the May 1 City Council work session at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

Continuing work on the transit feasibility study started in November, officials succeeded with what Mr. Lucero described as an all-out push to get locals involved in the discussion through a survey conducted in March.
