Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton announces he will resign May 29. If you haven’t heard, the mayor is resigning in order to run for Congress. But waiting until noon on May 29th is definitely cutting it close, as “state law requires elected officials to step down from their positions before turning in election petitions for a different office. It will feature an eighth-floor Sky Lobby, a Sky Terrace, Sky Balcony, plus an elevated Sky Walk, as well as 360 luxury apartments by Trinsic Residential, with Sky Units in which Sky Dwellers will live. Single-family home size increases at the start of 2018. Although this size increase in Q1 “runs counter to the recent prevailing trend,” NAHB Chief Economist Robert Dietz says it may just be a blip.
