OPINION: Chandler police now say that Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim didn’t lie to the officer who stopped him for a suspected DUI

Contrary to initial reports, it turns out that Cardinal General Manager Steve Keim didn’t lie to the police after all.

Just a day after Chandler police released a report indicating that Keim lied about who he was during a DUI stop, the cops now are saying he didn’t lie after all.

It seems a review of body camera footage indicates the police officer misunderstood Keim.

Chandler police change their tune.
