After two failed searches, City of Flagstaff brings Greg Clifton on as new manager

After almost a year and a half of searching, the City of Flagstaff has finally hired a new city manager.

The city announced Tuesday that out of the four finalists who had conducted in-person interviews, Greg Clifton was chosen as the city’s new manager.

Clifton will begin at the city on August 26, replacing Barbara Goodrich, who has been in the position since former city manager Josh Copley suddenly resigned in February 2018.
