Casa Grande council OKs new age-restricted community

With a preliminary OK from the Casa Grande City Council, plans will move forward for an active adult manufactured home community on the northwest corner of Casa Grande Avenue and O’Neil Drive.

The council on Tuesday held a public hearing and heard a first reading of an ordinance allowing a change in zoning from single-family residential to planned area development for the 43-acre parcel.

Dubbed Spanish Trails West, the development is designed to accommodate up to 195 manufactured homes in an age-restricted community.
