More time for Innovation Square development

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Chandler City Council is being asked to give more time for the planned Innovation Square development at Price and Queen Creek roads.

Chandler approved zoning changes for the proposed high-tech business park in 2016. That includes allowing building heights of up to 150 feet on the 14.9-acre site for offices and a hotel.

Those zoning changes included a 3-year time frame for the development to happen.

A potential anchor tenant deal did not come to fruition and developers are still working to build the project. They are asking the Chandler council to extend the zoning changes for another three years, according to documents filed with the East Valley city.

The property is owned by Price & Queen Creek LLC.
