Zoning change slated for prime Price Road Corridor property

A proposed mixed-use development with Class A office space, a hotel, and new apartments are headed towards final approval in Chandler.

Van Trust Real Estate owns the 20 acres site at Chandler Boulevard and the Loop 101 Freeway and is asking the Chandler City Council to rezone the property to allow for 200 apartments.

The property is near Chandler Fashion Center in the midst of the Price Road Corridor’s technology firms.

Current zoning for the Chandler 101 property does not allow for apartments. The council will vote on the zoning change at its meeting today.

The land is currently vacant.
