New restaurants, commercial space eyed in Gilbert.

The town of Gilbert is looking at rezoning a 7.07-acre property at Queen Creek and Greenfield roads to allow for a new commercial development with restaurants called Victory Plaza.

USA Property Holdings LLC wants to rezone the southwest corner at the intersection from single-family residential to commercial. The group wants to build a new 33,400 square foot commercial development on the property.

Plans calls for three restaurants, retail and other commercial space to be built on the Gilbert site.

The Gilbert Town Council is scheduled vote on the rezoning on March 3.

Arizona Corporation Commission records list Mark A. Jones of New Mexico as USA Property Holdings’ corporate manager.
