Phoenix Mayor Gallego, others hopeful Gov. Ducey will issue face mask

Amid a statewide surge in confirmed COVID-19 cases, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego is hopeful Gov. Doug Ducey will issue policy regarding wearing face masks in public.

Gallego told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Tuesday that she spoke to Ducey last week for the first time since March to discuss public safety issues.

“I’m hoping he will deliver big news,” Gallego said.
