New townhouses proposed in Mesa

The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board will take a look at plans for 76 new townhouses on Recker Road north of Baseline Group.

Pacific Rim Group is proposing the new residential development called Zen on Recker.

Plans call for the 6.7-acre parcel to be rezoned from its existing agriculture zoning to allow for residential development.

Pacific Rim is also developing the 90-townhome Zen on Baseline development near Baseline and Power roads. That project is on the former Rockin’ R Ranch cowboy restaurant.

The Planning and Zoning Board will hear about the development at its Sept. 9th meeting.
