Glendale to look at CARES Act allocations, get revenue update

The Glendale City Council will get an update on how the city has used its federal CARES Act and where to head with those allocations and leveraging more federal grants and aid. The council will also get an update on tax revenue collection and the city’s fiscal situation.

Glendale received just under $29 million in CARES Act money as well as $3.5 million in community development block grants and $3.7 million in emergency solutions grant money to help deal with the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Glendale council will receive the update on COVID-19 stimulus money and the revenue situation at its meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22.
