The Glendale Planning Commission will consider plans from Woodside Homes for a 212-lot subdivision on land adjacent to the former Thunderbird School of Global Management campus at 59th Avenue and Greenway Road.

The campus is now home to Arizona Christian University.

Woodside Homes wants to develop a residential subdivision called the Village at Thunderbird on 58.9 acres on a vacant parcel next to the college campus.

The Thunderbird business school is now part of Arizona State University. Thunderbird and ASU’s University Realty LLC still own the vacant land next to the ACU campus.

The Glendale Planning Commission will consider preliminary plat approvals for the Woodside Homes’ single-family development at its September 3rd meeting.
