Tempe sets hearings on Tempe Depot office, hotel towers

The Tempe City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, Nov. 12, on the proposed Tempe Depot development at 300 South Ash Avenue.

E&R Holdings (RED Development) wants to build a 17-story office towner and 18-story hotel on the 2.52 acre site.

The property is currently home to Macayo’s Depot Cantina and a historic train depot in downtown Tempe.

A second hearing is scheduled for Dec. 3. The project would also include a 7-story parking garage.
