MARICOPA — With new developments seemingly underway all over Maricopa, Rodolfo Lopez, deputy director of economic development for the city, presented another large development along Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway to the city council on Tuesday.
The proposal, which was approved by the Planning and zoning commission last month, would amend the zoning requirements for the Planned Area Development, Stonegate.
Stonegate is a nearly 54-acre, four-part development plan that includes single-family homes, multi-family homes, offices and a mixture of large and small commercial spaces. The new development sits to the north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and west of Stonegate Road.
