AZ industrial developer eyes expansion

After launching as an industrial build-to-suit developer and breaking ground on its first project in the middle of 2020, Phoenix-based BH Devco has grown to have 4.5 million square feet under construction in four states and is looking to continue that growth in 2021 and 2022.

“Being really focused on industrial and e-commerce, the business model has proven to be successful,” Steve Backman, founder and partner of the firm, said. “We continue to grow and find opportunities in the marketplace.”
