Inward migration, materials drive rising home prices in Pinal

CASA GRANDE — Home prices are rising faster than incomes in Arizona.

But area real estate professionals say the Pinal County market is still a bargain for home buyers.

According to a study by industry analyst Quote Wizard, the median price of a home in Arizona has risen more than 131% in the past decade while incomes in the state have only risen 31.9% in the same time period.

In the Quote Wizard study, Arizona ranks third in the nation behind Nevada and Idaho as a state in which median income has been slow to rise while housing costs escalate.
