The City of Chandler is looking to sell a city owned building at 51 East Boston Street to Specht Commercial Properties for $460,000.
Under the deal with the city, Specht must develop and operate a live comedy club at the Chandler property.
The city put a request for proposals for a sale and new use of the building.
The city received five proposals and the Specht deal is preferred by city staff.
The Chandler City Council will look at the proposed sale at its May 24 meeting.
