CVS expanding footprint in Chandler

CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) is expanding its footprint in Chandler with a $6 million real estate expansion and plans to hire as many as 500 new employees over the next two years.

CVS has invested $6 million in tenant improvements and has leased an additional 50,000 square feet of space at its Aetna One Advocate office in Chandler.. The building is located at 1255 S. Spectrum Boulevard, in the Allred Park Place development,

CVS already has a significant footprint in Chandler.

“Working for the Aetna One Advocate program provides colleagues the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives and their health,” said Jason Clement, vice president, Aetna Clinical Services, CVS Health, in a statement. “We care about our members and don’t rush them off the phone. Plus, it’s a fun work environment with great benefits, including discounts at all CVS Health stores.”

The drug store chain also has customer service offices for AETNA members in North Carolina and Ohio for the AETNA program.

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke welcomed the expansion and the jobs.

“Healthcare is one of Chandler’s target industry clusters and we are thrilled to see CVS Health contribute to the number of local career opportunities in this growing field,” stated We appreciate this sizeable investment from CVS Health within their beautiful office building and we look forward to partnering with them as they grow their presence on the Price Corridor,” Hartke said.
